Ormoške lagune - Ormoške lagune (on learning path)

Access to starting point:
We drive to Ormož, or to the Ormož bypass road, then from the roundabout on the eastern part of the town, we take the exit toward Croatia. The path ahead leads us through an underpass under the railway track and past the turn-off for Pušenci. Next follows another railway crossing, this time the passage is equipped with barriers, and on the other side of the tracks, we turn left toward the Ormoške lagune nature reserve. The path ahead leads us along a gravel road for approximately 1.5 km, then we turn left to the parking lot by the Ormoške lagoons.

Route description:
1. The first point of the learning trail is situated by the parking lot; signs for the second point at the beginning of the parking lot direct us left in the direction of north to northwest, where we initially walk through a strip of bushes. After leaving the strip of bushes, we step onto a cart track, which leads us to the first lagoons. Here we follow the signs of the learning trail, and at the hunting observatory, we reach a macadam road, along which, by the lagoons and past educational boards and observatories, we arrive at the seventh and eighth points, where the visitor center is located, along with children’s playgrounds.
We continue toward the ninth point and proceed further along the lagoons. At the tenth point, we turn sharply right from the cart track road toward the eleventh point, which we reach via a forest footpath alongside a small stream.
For the final point, we return to the road we recently walked on and continue along it all the way to the parking lot at the beginning or end of the learning trail.
