Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Kranjska Gora, and then we continue driving in the direction of the mountain pass Vršič. Only a little after the inn and the lake Jasna, we will get to the bridge over the river Pišnica, by which we park on a smaller parking lot. We can also park some 10 meters back on a larger parking lot next to the TNP sign.
Path description:
Just before the bridge over the river Velika Pišnica, a gravel road branches off to the left, leading to Krnica and towards Mihov dom. We head onto the mentioned road, which further leads us along the edge of the stream, then transitions into a strip of forest, where it gradually begins to ascend. The road quickly leaves the forest and leads us again along the increasingly narrow Velika Pišnica. Along a gentle path, we reach the path junction by the monument to the deceased alpinists in Planina v Klinu. Here our path branches off to the right, as clearly indicated by the visible markers (to the left the path goes to Krnica). We continue along the path by the monument and cross the scenic clearing in Planina v Klinu. At the end of the clearing, before the stream, we notice on our right a bridge about 20 m away, which will allow us a safe and dry crossing of the stream. Continuing after a short ascent, we reach the grave of Miha Arih, next to a larger parking area. We follow the markers and a short section of forest road that leads towards Vršiška cesta. Already after a few minutes of further walking, our path branches off to the left from the road onto a wide forest path (Marker Mihov dom 10 minutes). A few more minutes of somewhat steeper ascent along the wide forest path, crossing Vršiška cesta, and we are already at the courtyard of Mihov dom.
