Poetto - Sella del Diavolo

Access to starting point:
The famous beach Poetto is located 5 kilometers east of the center of the capital city of Sardinia, Cagliari.

Path description:
The entire eastern slope of Sella del Diavolo is a military area and therefore there are no access routes from this side. Because the beach Poetto is located on the eastern side, the hill must first be largely circumvented. From Poetto after 5 minutes turn left onto the street Via Vergine di Lluc and at the smaller square Piazza San Bartolomeo turn onto the street Calamosca. Follow the road straight to its end, where the marked footpath begins. The path first ascends steeply and then splits into two branches, of which we choose the left one (the right one is the path to a viewpoint). The path further reaches several panoramic points on Poetto beach. Towards the end of the path we first come to the hut, then also to the archaeological site, after which the path ends.
