Rucmanci - Gomila

Access to starting point:
From the road Ptuj - Ljutomer, in the settlement Savci, we turn in the direction of Gomila. We then drive towards Gomila but follow the road to the settlement Rucmanci (there is no sign by the road for the beginning of the settlement, only a road sign for the end of the settlement Savci), where before the crossroads, by which there is a chapel, we park on the parking lot by the recycling spot.

Path description:
From the crossroad at the recycling spot we continue on the right road, at the next crossroad, a few dozen meters further, we continue on the left road. Further, we walk through the valley of the stream Sejanca, and we walk on an asphalt road to the spot, where mountain signposts for Gomila point us to the right (a hiking signpost is situated about 50 meters ahead) on a marked path, which ascends between the field and the edge of the forest. On a grassy path we quickly ascend to an abandoned farm, and above it we follow a poorly visible path which leads us through the meadow. Higher, we follow the cart track, on which we get to the settlement Rucmanski Vrh, where we go on an asphalt road first right, and then immediately left, so that we bypass the nearby house on the left side. The path ahead leads us on a cart track which on the other side of the meadow passes into the forest. Out of the forest we step on a macadam road, and along it we get to the hamlet Mali Senčak, where at the marked crossing we continue in the direction of Gomila. The path ahead leads us on an asphalt road, where we go first slightly right, and a little higher, at the next crossroad, we go sharply left. Only a few dozen steps of walking remain and we get to the snack bar Okrepčevalnica pri Stolpu, and a few steps ahead also to a lookout tower on Gomila.
