About 4 km south of Žabljak we find the junction from the Žabljak-Nikšić road to the Žabljak-Sedlo-Trsa-Plužine road (currently the turn-off is not marked!) and drive along a flat, high-alpine, fully asphalted road to the Sedlo saddle (ca 14 km from Žabljak). We park at the top of the saddle.
Path description:
From the Sedlo saddle to Zeleni vir lake, where the second, steep part of the tour begins, generally hiking northwest. First over a smaller ridge to the foot of Uvita grijeda peak. Continue left along the foot and then across a steep passage (one short fixed rope) to the saddle left of Uvita grijeda. Here the terrain flattens and gradually opens up. Continue first more or less along the contour line, then two longer descents follow, first gently down to the Surutka puddle/lake, then - in between climbing again a couple of dozen meters to a smaller ridge - a somewhat steeper descent to Zeleni lake. Past it, gently ascend to a larger trail junction. To here 1:30.
Continue upwards over the steps of the southern slope of Bobotov kuk (one fixed rope in the lower part). The slope is steep and long. Zigzagging up through the rockier sections, higher up increasingly more grassy sections. When reaching the saddle right under the summit pyramid, a view opens towards Žabljak. From the saddle continue left in a gentle ascent over scree terrain until reaching the saddle left under the summit pyramid. There switch to the western side, far below the valley with Škrčko lake opens up. On the western side first a short, exposed traverse to the left, then ascent through a short gully, above it a gentler passage to the right to the summit rocks. Across the summit rocks some fixed ropes assist, above the ropes just a few steps to the top. From the junction to the summit 1:30.
