Access to starting point:
Drive on the motorway to the exit for Tolmezzo, then to Villa Santina and Overo. After Overo take left to the valley Val Pesarina just before Comeglians. Follow Val Pesarina to the junction, where keep right towards Lozzo di Cadore, but park after about one kilometre below the mountain pass Sella di Razzo.
Sella di Razzo can be reached also via Sauris (in Villa Santina turn for Ampezzo, in Ampezzo follow the signs for Sauris, and then for Sella di Razzo).
From the Dolomites side drive to Lozzo di Cadore, and there turn in the direction to Sella di Razzo.
Path description:
The path follows a 4 km long slightly descending road to Casera Chiansaveit, losing about 60 meters of elevation. The road is paved with concrete only at steeper parts, elsewhere gravel. You will cross several mountain streams and pass at least three locations with bee hives.
Follow path no. 212 and pass Casera Chiansaveit on its left side. The path leads into the forest, which soon ends with altitude. The last 200 meters of altitude to the saddle Forcella del Bivera are more strenuous in places due to scree slopes.
At the saddle Forcella del Bivera turn left towards Bivera summit. The direction is easy to follow in clear weather, even though the markings are scarce from here on, and the path to the top is partly demanding. After 30 minutes from the saddle you reach the summit.
