Access to starting point:
From Mozirje we drive towards Logarska dolina, but only to the village Strmec (village between Ljubno and Luče), where signs for Snežna jama on Raduha point us to the right on a narrower ascending road. The mentioned road, which has a few crossroads, we follow in the direction of Snežna jama and mountain hut Koča na Loki (crossroads are well marked). After 18 km (of which 11 km macadam) of driving from the spot when we left the main road, we come to a parking lot below Snežna jama.
Path description:
At the end of the parking lot, we notice signposts for Snežna jama, which point us to the right on a steep ascending cart track, on which in less than 10 minutes of walking we ascend to Snežna jama.
From Snežna jama we continue slightly right on a gently sloping mountain path (direction Loka and Raduha), which soon joins a wide cart track. We continue the ascent on the mentioned cart track, which past a grazing fence brings us to mountain pasture Planina Arta, where a smaller shepherd hut stands.
By the mentioned shepherd hut we notice signposts, which point us slightly left upwards on an at first poorly visible path (in fog, orientation is difficult). A little higher, the path becomes more visible, turns slightly to the left and after a few additional steps brings us into the forest. We continue the ascent through a conifer forest, on the path which higher brings us to the ridge of Raduha (view on Robanov kot). Here the path turns slightly to the right and then continues along the mostly covered ridge (spruces, larches and dwarf pines). The increasingly scenic path, which further runs through dwarf pines, after some time withdraws from the ridge to the right, where it crosses an indistinct secondary peak of Velika Raduha.
The path then starts ascending again and brings us from dwarf pines to the summit grassy slopes of Raduha, on which in a few minutes we ascend to the scenic summit.
