Velika Raduha

Description of mountain:
Velika Raduha, at an elevation of 2062 m, is the highest and westernmost peak in the Raduha ridge, a mountain range that rises steeply east of the valley and the settlement of Robanov Kot. From the summit, where a registration box and stamp are located, there is a beautiful view of the highest peaks of the Kamniško-Savinjske Alps and toward the neighboring Mala Raduha (which lies somewhat farther east), Olševa, Peca, Uršlja gora, Travnik, Komn, and Golte. Most of the peaks above the middle and upper course of the Savinja River are also clearly visible. Nearby are the popular huts Koča na Loki pod Raduho and Koča na Grohatu, and the mountain is also known for its secured climbing route and the famous Snow Cave.
