Šober (Perkova graba) - Planinski dom obrtnikov

Access to starting point:
From the Maribor - Dravograd road, from the roundabout in Bresternica we drive in the direction of the exit for Gaj nad Mariborom, and immediately after the intersection we go left again towards Gaj. The path ahead leads us past the Mercator store and then also through part of the Bresternica settlement, then we arrive at the chapel, where we go left towards Gaj nad Mariborom. Further on, we drive along the Bresterniški potok stream, from the intersection at Šoberjev dvor we go right onto the road towards Sv. Urban. Further on, we drive through Petkova graba, following the road to the spot where, opposite a meadow, to the right a marked path branches off towards Kamnica, and to the left leads a marked path to Tojzlov vrh. We park at a suitable place at the intersection, best on the other side of the bridge, where the road continues towards Kamnica.

Route description:
From the starting point, we head for the path towards Tojzlov vrh, where we walk through a meadow, after which we ascend into the forest. Through the forest, we ascend on a cart track, after a few minutes we reach another cart track which we follow left uphill. We also continue to ascend on a cart track and at the junctions follow the blazes. Higher, we leave the forest and ascend to an asphalt road which we follow to the left.
For a short time, we walk on a panoramic road, from which a nice view opens up towards Sv. Urban and the surrounding hills, then the road returns into the forest. There follow a few minutes of moderate ascent and we arrive at Planinski dom Kozjak or Planinski dom Obrtnik on Tojzlov vrh.
