Access to starting point:
Štore is accessible ideally with the help of the railway. By road... you leave the motorway in Celje and practically in the centre of Celje head towards Štore or Šentjur. You park the car near the Štore railway station, where there are enough parking spaces available and also the beginning of the marked hiking trail.
Route description:
The beginning of the path is at the railway station in Štore. We go over Voglajna, where a signpost immediately points us right in the direction of Svetina and soon straight practically through the area of the old Štore ironworks. On the asphalt road we continue in the lower part along Bojanski jarek to a new path junction, where we continue straight, sign ,,mimo Marije,, left path ,,čez Žlajfo,,. Soon the road turns sharply left somewhat uphill, flattens again at the sports field in the settlement Pečovje, decades ago a coal mine, and from here we can also follow the signs of Barbarina pot and after a few row houses turn left onto the forest road, which passes by the last homestead into a forest path. Soon a path ,,skozi Bojanski graben,, branches off to the left, while we continue right uphill through dense forest and when the steepness eases, the path from Celje and Teharije soon joins from the right. We continue left along the forest road past two or three houses/holiday cottages and then once again left on a somewhat narrower forest path, partly also a cart track higher up. The path ascends somewhat more steeply again and on the left side there are also some steel cables, more in the function of a fence than for grip.
Soon we reach a junction. We continue straight uphill also following CPP signs or the inscription Srebotnik, while to the left leads the path to the chapel with the image of Mary carved into the wall of Srebotnik a few tens of metres away and higher to Svetina, Tolsti vrh, Veliki vrh... The path to Srebotnik is steep and about halfway turns into a typical ridge path. A few tens of metres directly before the summit it can be demanding in poor conditions, mainly due to the risk of slipping, and caution is not superfluous. Soon we reach the summit with a bench, registration box and views that reward the decision for the path.

Discussion about the trip Štore - Srebotnik

| pohodnik388. 03. 2015 |
Yesterday on Saturday I walked part of Cpp somehow adut on the whole path, Srebotnik was with me, continued to the highest peak of Celje hills Tolsti vrh, descended to the lowlands past Celjska koča and to the castle. Nice path just right for spring hikes even though the weather in the morning more gloomy and forgetting the occasional strong wind on the peaks quite solid. Snapshots and personal impressions from the path Lp! Tone

Starka Matilda was very afraid of gospoda Ignacija Novaka. At least according to the information on the board at the Pečovje mine.
