Svečina - Tourist farm Dreisiebner (Heart Among the Vineyards)

Access to starting point:
We drive to the roundabout Pesnica and we go to the exit for Lenart. The road towards Lenart v Slovenskih goricah we quickly leave and we continue right in the direction of Zgornja Kungota and Dolnja Počehova, and still before the highway, we go once again right in the direction of Zgornja Kungota. Further, we drive on the main road to Zgornja Kungota, where in the middle of the settlement, we turn right in the direction towards Plač and Svečina. A little further, we leave the road towards Plač and we go left towards Svečina, when we get to Svečina we park on an appropriate place in the center of the settlement.

Path description:
From the starting point, we go on the path which leads through the center of the settlement and leads us past the church and a little further also across the stream. After the stream, we go left, and a little ahead once again left. After the crossroad, we gradually start ascending, and after a few minutes of diagonal ascent, we turn right toward Evina hiša and continue along the macadam road.
In a few minutes of further walking, we reach a nice resting place and viewpoint, and a few minutes later, passing a house, we enter the forest, where we briefly descend a little, continuing to follow the blazes. Further on, the path is again mostly ascending, and from the path, a nice view opens up on Plački vrh and Pečovje. Higher up, the path flattens again and then, in a few steps, descends to an asphalt road, where there is a marked crossing.
We continue left in the direction of the 7th control point of the Svečina path (right to the 6th control point) and, in a few minutes of walking on the asphalt road, we reach the national border. Here, the marked path, marked with Knafelc blazes, turns left (the path was impassable in February 2024 due to works and the planting of new vineyards), but we continue straight and cross to the Austrian side of the national border (frequent checks on the Austrian side, passage is allowed only for citizens of Slovenia and Austria). Also on the Austrian side, we continue on the asphalt road, and at the nearby crossroad, we turn left and then walk past a few houses. At the Trunk family farm, where they sell wines, we turn left onto Herzerlstraße. Next follows a short descent, and we step back onto the Slovenian side, where, with nice views, we reach the Dreisiebner Tourist Farm.
