Sveti Trije Kralji v Slovenskih goricah - Negova Castle

Access to starting point:
A) We leave the Pomurska motorway at the exit Lenart v Slovenskih goricah, then follow the road in the direction of Gornja Radgona. In the settlement Benedikt in Slovenske gorice we turn right towards Sveta Trojica, after approximately 1400 meters we go left towards Sveti Trije Kralji. There follows a further few hundred meters of ascent, then we park on the parking lot below the church of the Holy Three Kings.
B) We drive to Gornja Radgona, then follow the road in the direction of Lenart v Slovenskih goricah. In the settlement Benedikt in Slovenske gorice we turn left towards Sveta Trojica, after approximately 1400 meters we go left towards Sveti Trije Kralji. There follows a further few hundred meters of ascent, then we park on the parking lot below the church of the Holy Three Kings.

Path description:
From the starting point, we walk to the church, and behind the church we go right in the direction of Negova, where we walk on an asphalt road which gently descends. When we arrive in the valley we go right, a few 10 m ahead we go left across the stream. On the other side of the bridge we go left again, then we ascend a macadam road to the nearby house (carefully because of dogs (at the time of the description there were two loose)), where we go right into the forest. There follows a steeper ascent through the forest, at the nearby farm we reach the macadam road, on which we continue the ascent. In the forest the road forks, and we choose the slightly left road along which the blazes continue. The road quickly turns into a cart track, before the old homestead we go left onto a grassy cart track. There follows a short crossing and we arrive at another house, where we reach another macadam road. We descend the road to the left bend, from the bend we go straight onto a cart track which brings us along the edge of the forest to the next road. We continue straight, first through the forest, then past a house we reach an asphalt road which we follow left uphill. We continue to follow the asphalt road, at the crossroads following the blazes. Soon we arrive at the settlement Negova, where we continue to follow the blazes. We follow the asphalt road all the way to the centre of Negova, where the church of Mary's Birth and Negova Castle are located.
