Trate - Tourist excursion farm Sirk

Access to starting point:
From Gornja Radgona, Lenart v Slovenskih goricah, or Šentilj v Slovenskih goricah, we drive to the border crossing Trate, or Cmurek / Mureck, where the described path begins on the Slovenian side. At the starting point, there aren't any parking spots for mountaineers.

Path description:
From the border crossing, where there is also a bus stop and the bakery Mura, we continue for a short time along the main road towards the southwest, or in the direction of Šentilj and Lenart, and then turn slightly right onto a side macadam road, along which there are signposts for Sladki Vrh and Zgornja Velka. The path ahead leads us along the flow of the river Mura upwards, and we bypass the nearby house on the right, lower side. The path then continues between the forest and slopes on the left side and a field on the right side, and after the hunting observatory, we arrive at a marked crossing.
From the crossing, we continue straight towards Sladki Vrh (sharply left Zgornja Velka) and after crossing the meadow, we enter the forest, where the path gradually ascends the slope above the right bank of the Mura. The path continues with some shorter ascents and descents, and in some sections, there is also a wooden fence along the path.
When we leave the slopes above the river Mura, the terrain flattens, and the path splits once again.
This time, we continue left upwards on the path towards the Sirk farm (straight Sladki Vrh). Some ascent follows through the forest, then at the edge of the forest, we climb to a pasture where we reach a cart track, along which we continue to the main asphalt road, which we carefully cross. After crossing the road, we continue left, and in a few dozen steps of further walking, we arrive at Tourist excursion farm Sirk, where the control point of the Šentilj trail is located.
