Access to starting point:
We leave the highway LJ-MB at the exit Dramlje and drive towards Šentjur. In Šentjur we head towards Kozje, Gorica pri Slivnici. In Gorica at the roundabout we head towards Sv. Štefan, Loka, Podčetrtek. Further on, we drive along Slivniško jezero (approx. 3 km straight past the turn-off for Sv. Štefan), at the next junction we turn right towards Ječovo, Dobrina, Hrastje. After approx. 500 m we arrive at the Tourist Farm Žurej (the first farm by the road - Javorje 32, Gorica pri Slivnici).
Route description:
The path described below no longer exists entirely, as its climbing section was partly carried away by a quarry. The path now runs more to the right.
We begin the hike at the Tourist Farm Žurej-Ječovo. Through the nice Javorska dolina valley, where according to folk tradition the first potato in Slovenia was planted, we cross the Voglajna river and turn left into the forest. The marked path leads us past the trough. We continue through the managed forest, where with some luck we can gather many species of mushrooms. We arrive at the first steeper ascent: «Kurčev hrib». This part of the path is especially wonderful in spring, during the Traditional Hike. A descent follows, and the path brings us to «Grofov štanta», where we join the steep, demanding path. The steep path is equipped with steel cables, pitons and numerous steps. The path crosses numerous rocks, which with their grandeur add a very special charm to the path.

“Difficult trail” no longer exists.
It was “eaten” by the nearby quarry.

There is also a slightly easier climbing path with pegs and cables higher up, more interesting than this one
