Ukanc - Koča pri Savici

Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Bohinjska Bistrica, then we continue driving towards Lake Bohinj and further towards the Vogel ski slope. When a short road branches off to the left from the main road towards the bottom station of the cable car on Vogel, we continue right and then immediately park on the larger paid parking lot.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the asphalt road towards the Hotel Zlatorog. After a few minutes of easy walking past the Zlatorog Bohinj campsite and past the information board of the circular path Zlatorog's fairy-tale land, we arrive at the Hotel Zlatorog, and behind the hotel, the path splits.
We continue in the direction of Savica waterfall (left Savica waterfall through Blato), and when a little further we cross the Savica river, we once again continue left in the direction of Savica waterfall (right path around Lake Bohinj). For some time we continue on the asphalt road, then yellow signs for Savica waterfall direct us slightly right onto a macadam path, which at first still leads past a few cottages, then transitions into the forest. Through the forest, we ascend moderately, and when higher the path flattens, we arrive at a marked junction, where the path over Komarča branches off to the right, and we continue straight on the gentle path towards Koča pri Savici. This is followed by crossing a bridge, and then we already arrive at Koča pri Savici.
