Wildon - Buchkogel (Wildoner Berg)

Access to starting point:
From the highway Maribor - Graz we go to the exit Wildon. We turn left in the direction of Wildon.
At the roundabout we choose the 2nd exit for Wildon and we continue on the road approximately 1 km, where we then at the crossroad turn right and immediately again left.
We come to a parking lot near the lake (before the bridge, where the river Kainach is crossed). Here we park.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we go on the sidewalk across the bridge over the river Kainach, where we notice the first trail blaze of our path.
We stick to the main road. After the light turn to the left, the blazes point us to the other side of the road into a narrower street, where there is a signpost with a mountain map and with the inscription of the path length.
We go up the street and in doing so we follow the blazes and signposts for Buchkogel.
When we come to a fork, where on the left side there is a smaller rock, we see a blaze to the right, and also to the left.
Both paths lead to the summit. The left path is a little longer, the right one has a vantage point along the path.
We choose the path to the right. So we go right on the road to the house, where the asphalt path ends.
We continue on the path along the fence, which brings us to a bench with a vantage point.
Then we go into the forest. On a forest path we cross a macadam road (which leads near the peak), we continue through the forest.
Further on, the path brings us to the road and to a fork of two macadam roads.
We choose the right macadam road and after 10 meters on the left side we notice the beginning of the footpath, on which in a few minutes on the steep path we come to the summit.
