Zamarkova - Črni križ at Hrastovec (on footpath)

Access to starting point:
We leave the Pomurska highway at the exit Lenart v Slovenskih goricah, and then we head on the road towards Pernica. Soon after we leave the highway, we get to the settlement Zamarkova, where at the beginning of the settlement we turn right into a parking lot, which is situated in front of the Retirement Home of St. Agata.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the sidewalk in the direction towards Pernica, where we bypass the Retirement Home of St. Agata, and then on the pedestrian crossing we carefully cross the main road.
On the other side of the road is an information board, and we continue left, where we pass through a strip of bushes and descend near the lake, continuing along a path that runs beside lush vegetation overgrowing the lake's shore. A little further, the path goes into the forest and brings us to the information board of the learning trail "Dvoživke" (Amphibians). Just a little further, we cross a small bridge, then before the observatory we continue left onto a well-trodden footpath, where shortly ahead we notice a yellow sign with the outline of a runner. We continue in the mentioned direction, ascending moderately through the forest for a few minutes, and then we arrive at Črni križ (black cross), which is located above steep stairs.
