Zamarkova - Lake Komarnik (path around the lake)

Access to starting point:
We leave the Pomurska motorway at the exit Lenart v Slovenskih goricah, and then we head on the road towards Pernica. Soon after we leave the motorway, we arrive at the settlement Zamarkova, where at the beginning of the settlement we turn right onto the parking lot, which is located in front of the Retirement home sv. Agate.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the sidewalk in the direction towards Pernica, where we bypass the Retirement home sv. Agate, then we carefully cross the main road on the pedestrian crossing.
On the other side of the road there is an information board, and we can continue left or right, because the path ahead runs around the lake.
The path described further runs clockwise, therefore we continue left.
Through a lane of bushes we descend near the lake, where we continue on the path which runs by lush vegetation which overgrows the shore of the lake. A little further, the path goes into the forest and brings us to the information board of the learning trail "Dvoživke". Only a little further, we go over a smaller bridge, and then we already arrive at a smaller observatory, from which a nice view opens up on the lake, mainly in the morning we can observe numerous birds from it. We continue on the forest path, which continues along the lake, then temporarily ascend slightly and the path brings us on top of the ascent to a smaller junction, where we continue slightly right, still around the lake (sharply left a short path branches off to the learning board "Gomile").
A short descent follows and we arrive at the southernmost part of the lake, from where we continue on the embankment. From the embankment a nice view opens up on Lake Komarnik, the nearby castle Hrastovec and Pohorje in the background. We walk on the embankment to the northwestern part of the lake, where we go right over the bridge across the Partinjski potok, a few steps further also over a smaller bridge. After the smaller bridge only a short walk follows and we arrive at the information board, where the circular path begins, from here we have only 3 minutes of walking to the parking lot where we started the trail.
