Zrmanja Railway Station - Poštak

Access to starting point:
Leave the A1 motorway at the Sveti Rok exit. Continue towards Gračac. In Gračac, continue left and then right at the roundabout. Drive past the turn-off for Cerovačke špilje. When arriving in the village of Otrić, pay attention to the left turn towards Zrmanja railway station (the turn-off from this side is not signposted). Park in the parking lot at the railway station.

Path description:
From the starting point, go behind the station along the path to the underpass. Continue through it and further along the flat cart track. Arrive at a less noticeable junction and continue straight. Carefully follow the markings. The path crosses cart tracks several times leading to nearby wind turbines. After half an hour of walking, reach scenic grassy slopes. Red and white stakes aid orientation. In spring and summer months, there are plenty of flowers here. The path begins to ascend somewhat steeper along the grassy slope. Upon reaching below the foot of Poštak, a barely noticeable path branches right towards the "Marsovec" rock. Bypass it along the marked path or pass by it. The path steeply ascends to a small saddle, then through a small strip of forest leads to the south-western slopes, which are crossed for a while. The path then turns left. The path becomes somewhat more rocky. Carefully follow markings to the log box just below the summit. A final short ascent awaits us to the panoramic summit of Poštak.
