Amariana

Description of mountain:
Amariana is a beautiful pyramidal mountain rising above Tolmezzo. Due to its exposed position, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding ranges and the unusually wide gravel beds of the Tagliamento River below. The approach is along steep slopes, but the path is well-graded and secured with steel cables in demanding sections. It is suitable for anyone with at least some experience in high-mountain hiking.
