Cable ferry on Mura (Melinci)

Description of mountain:
The ferry in Melinci is one of four ferries still operating on the Mura River. It consists of two shallow boats connected by a linking and load-bearing platform on which the ferryman's cabin stands. The platform, usually fenced, is attached to a steel interbank cable along which a pulley with a suspension rope runs. The ferry moves across the river with the help of the current.
