Description of mountain:
Cima Scalieret is one of the higher mountains in the Catinaccio (Rosengarten) mountain group in the Italian Dolomites and the highest in the Larsèc subgroup. The 2887-meter-high mountain is located south of the Passo di Antermoia saddle above the Val di Vajolet valley. From the summit, which has a cross, there is a very nice view of much of the Catinaccio group, and the Sassolungo, Sella, and Marmolada groups are also nicely visible.
