Description of mountain:
Approximately 3-hour partly circular hiking-climbing scenic path, which is also a little adrenaline-filled, leading past the climbing area with three sectors and past numerous climbing routes on a natural wall (all relatively difficult, from grade 5 and up), the ferrata is situated at the very end of the upper section of the climbing area (moderate difficulty: average B/C, one part C/D) and across the wall it has roughly four parts: diagonal left entrance, traverse, vertical upwards and diagonal exit to the left. Most of the routes were equipped a decade ago by the legend of Slovenian climbing walls Vili Guček, members of AO Trbovlje and AO Litija also participated and assisted, and this year some safety gear on the ferrata was renewed.
The path and access from the settlement Renke are this year again cleared, harder spots on the footpath at the ascent are secured with a rope, and some new green markings were also installed (signposts, green triangles and arrows). By the path in the forest on the trees there are also some yellow arrows and rectangles, which were marked for their needs by hunters, … but those in the middle part don't always lead in the right direction, therefore on this tour follow the »green«. After leaving the ferrata continue to the top of the rocky ribs, to a nice viewpoint below the hamlet Špital. Into the valley or back to the starting point we return on a descent footpath which bypasses the ferrata and the upper part of the climbing area, and the middle and lower part of the path we do on the same path.
