Description of mountain pasture:
Gorjanska planina is a panoramic mountain pasture in the eastern part of the Carnic Alps, located on the border between Austria and Italy. From the pasture, beautiful views open up of the Gail Valley and parts of the Gailtal Alps, the western Karawanks, and the Julian Alps. On the Austrian side of the pasture, there are a few huts mostly used as weekend cottages.
