Großer Ebenstein (jugovzhodni vrh)

Description of mountain:
Ebenstein (southeastern peak) is a scenic pre-summit with a cross and a summit register, reached via a marked trail. Because a cross stands on it, many mountaineers mistake it for the main summit, yet it is separated from the highest northwestern peak (2123 m) by only a few minutes’ walk along the ridge. The summit offers a fine view of the surrounding mountains and valleys, and in good weather the panorama extends far across the central part of the Hochschwab group.
