Harterberg, also known as Hoaterberg, is a 1,036 m high hill above the settlement of Schrems/Frohnleiten in the northern part of the Graz Mountains.
A cross stands on the summit. Traditionally, Holy Mass is celebrated there on Pentecost Sunday.
Just below the summit, two large beech trees about 200 years old (circumferences 4.50 m and 5.78 m) can be admired.
The summit is popular year-round and offers fine views of the Mur Valley and surrounding hills.
