Description of mountain:
Hochschober is a 3,240-meter-high mountain in the Schober group. Although it is the fourth highest in the group, the mountain group is named after it. The Schoberkees glacier lies on its northern side. From the summit, there is a very fine view of much of the Schober group, and Großglockner is also clearly visible. It was first ascended by Franz Keil on August 18, 1852.
