Description of mountain:
Ilijin vrh, also known as Sveti Ilija, is the main peak of the Sniježnica Konavoska mountain ridge, which is also the southernmost mountain ridge of the Dinaric Alps in Croatia.
The summit is located above the settlement of Kuna Konavoska and is the highest peak in Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
On the summit there is a meteorological station, a transmitter, and the chapel of Sveti Ilija. The logbook is in the chapel, and the stamp is on the wall to the right above the door.
On clear days, there are breathtaking views in all directions: hills along and across the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Orjen ridge in Montenegro, and the entrance to the Bay of Kotor.
To the south lies the open sea, to the southwest the runway of Čilipi Airport. To the west we see Lokrum Island, part of old Dubrovnik, Babin Kuk, and the Elaphiti Islands.
Far on the horizon is Mljet Island. Above the hidden Dubrovnik rises the hill Srđ.
