Description of mountain hut:
The Karlsbader Hütte mountain hut lies in the very heart of the highest peaks of the Lienz Dolomites. Beside the hut is the high-alpine Laserzsee lake, offering breathtaking views of the peaks and walls of Laserzwand (2614 m), Roter Turm (2700 m), Große Sandspitze (2770 m – the highest peak of the Lienz Dolomites), Gamskopfe (2695 m), Wilde Sender (2738 m), Seekofel (2738 m), Simonskopf (2687 m), and Große Gamswiesenspitze (2486 m).
