Description of hut:
The mountain hut is located just a few minutes below the 884-meter-high peak Vrh Svetih Treh Kraljev. It lies in the Rovtarsko hribovje and is accessible by an asphalt road from Logatec, Horjul, or Žiri; the roads converge a few kilometers before the hut. Wooden tables and benches stand in front of the forest-surrounded hut. The forest blocks all views. Just a minute below the hut, between the First and Second World Wars, construction of a military tunnel began but was never completed. During excavation, they discovered an underground cave with passages over a kilometer long and up to 70 meters deep. The cave features aragonite and helictite formations.
