Lipševa vrata (Vrata, Felsentore)

Description of mountain:
Lipševa vrata, also known locally as Vrata or Felsentore, are one of two very famous attractions in the Olševa mountain range. Even more renowned is Potočka zijalka. There are three such gates on the Austrian side of Olševa, right next to the border. A protected mountain path leads through and past them. The area is very precipitous, with deep precipices especially below Mala and Velika Lipševa vrata. All three gates are truly fascinating natural formations. Through the highest Velika Lipševa vrata (1,508 m) there is a nice view of Austrian Carinthia, and from Mala Lipševa vrata (1,480 m) Storžič is even visible.
