Lisc (Lisec)

Description of mountain:
Lisc (or Lisec) is with 1653 meters a panoramic green peak, which is ascending south from the valley Spodnja Bohinjska dolina, to which including with Lake Bohinj nice views are opening up. Even though Lisc is part of Bohinj - Tolmin mountains and is located north from Črna prst, it is less visited.

Orientationally the easiest approach is on the ridge on the path from Črna prst (about 5 minutes of walking west from the peak of Črna prst the path branches off towards the south in the direction of the mountain pasture Osredki and Lisec), and numerous cairns also make easier the approach from the mountain hut Orožnova koča. Lush vegetation in the summer hides numerous cairns, therefore the path can be in the summer in parts hard to follow.
