Matzen

Description of mountain:
Macna / Matzen is 1627 meters high peak, which is situated north from Košuta and south from river Drava / Drau. From Macna a nice view opens up on the nearby Obir, Košuta, border ridge of Karawanks, part of Julian, Carnic and Gailtal Alps, High and Lower Tauern and Gurktal and Lavanttal Alps. Inscription box is situated on the southern secondary peak, and on the northern secondary peak stands a cross. All three peaks are distant from one another approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
