Mihov dom na Vršiču

Description of hut:
Mihov dom na Vršiču is located on the Kranjska Gora side of the Russian Road above Velika Pišnica, halfway between Lake Jasna and the Vršič Pass. The hut stands at an altitude of 1085 meters. Despite the nearby forests, it offers one of the most beautiful views: to the east, above the expansive Krnica valley, rise the Martuljek mountains with Špik, and to their right there is an exceptionally fine view of Škrlatica, Rakova Špica, Rogljica and Dovški Gamsovec; to the south, above the nearby Velika Pišnica, the cliffs of Prednja glava and Goličica in Prisojnik rise, while to the right, between the walls of Prisojnik and Mojstrovka, the considerably lower and greener Vršič is visible; to the west and north, the ridge with Robičje, Visoki Mavrinc, Kumlehova glava, Veliki Kumleh and Škrbinjek rises above the hut, extending from Mojstrovka to Kranjska Gora.
