Millstone quarry

Description of mountain:
The millstone quarry is situated on the slopes of the old Osterberg castle above the valley of the Besnica stream. The beginning of millstone extraction probably dates back to Roman times. It was first mentioned in 1567. On the slope there are several smaller quarries, and at the largest one there is also a bench and an information board. A few unfinished millstones are still visible in the quarries. The Ostrovrharjeva pot path also leads past the quarries.
