Mugel

Description of mountain:
Mugel is a 1630 m high mountain on the Gleinalpe (Glinska planina) above the village of Niklasdorf in Styria.
A cross stands on the summit, and the Mugelschutzhaus hut (1626 m) is nearby.
Several hiking trails from various directions lead to Mugel.
A gravel road reaches the hut but is closed to public traffic.
The trail crossing the peak from north to south is part of the European long-distance path E6.
Thus, the Mugelschutzhaus serves as an important stopover for hikers on this route.
