Oberer Wildenkarsee

Description of lake:
The Oberer Wildenkarsee is the upper and considerably larger lake compared to the lower eponymous one. The lake is located in a high-alpine cirque below the steep slopes of the surrounding peaks. From the lake, there is a nice view of the nearby peaks, where Flederwaißspitz, Bauleiteck, and Dachleiteck are most prominently visible.
