Description of mountain:
At the end of 1944, in autumn, a partisan hospital named or coded 0V-3B was established on Formila/Boč. Besides smaller local partisan units, units from the Kozjansko detachment and XIV Division operated in the area. Boč served as the main link between Kozjansko and Pohorje. Dozens of fighters were treated there. It was safely sheltered in a karst sinkhole. The shack had bunk beds in two rows, and the roof was protectively covered with soil, moss, branches, and leaves. Despite frequent German raids nearby, it operated successfully until the betrayal in March 1945. The wounded were timely relocated to a reserve site above Makole. The cave with the karst sinkhole remains a visible reminder, with a memorial plaque embedded in the wall above it, while the shack—renovated in 1993—is now in poor condition due to vandalism. Even today, though right by the forest road, it is well hidden, about 200 meters to the left and slightly below the road from the Formila clearing toward Makole or Plešivec.
