Petelinjsko jezero

Description of lake:
Petelinjsko Lake is the second-largest intermittent lake in the Pivka Basin. Water remains in the lake for approximately half the year; it is about 1 km long and around 500 m wide, and the water level can rise up to 10 m. The lake is also home to a species of crayfish found only there (up to 1.5 cm long).
