Description of mountain:
Planica is a less known, but panoramic peak which is situated south from the main ridge of Karawanks, more precisely between Kepa and Dovje. From the top, on which since the year 2008 there is also a smaller inscription box, a beautiful view opens up towards Rjavina, Triglav, Stenar, Kukova špica, Špik, Mangart, Kepa, Dovška Baba, Jerebikovec and other surrounding peaks.
