Poludnik/Poludnig is located on the eastern part of the Carnic Alps. Because there is no higher peak nearby, there is a very nice view from Poludnik/Poludnig towards the Carnic and Julian Alps. Towards the north, Veliki Klek/Grossglockner and other High Tauern are clearly visible.
