Description of mountain:
Pomjan is a clustered village situated in the heart of the Šavrin Hills and, with its elevation, the highest-lying village in those hills. The village features a 15th-century succursal church of the Nativity of Mary, the parish church of St. George consecrated by Bishop Absalon on April 16, 1222, a WWII memorial, and some information boards. On the eastern side of the settlement, along the road to Marezige, there is a fine viewpoint offering views of the surrounding hills, the sea, and on clear days as far as the Alps.
