Potočka zijalka

Description of mountain:
Potočka zijalka is a karst cave on the southern slopes of Olševa, 115 m long and 20 to 40 m wide. In 1928, Professor Brodar discovered a Stone Age settlement over 40,000 years old. Forty animal species were identified, including the cave bear. Bone and stone tools, along with hearth remains, were also found. The historical material is kept in the regional museum in Celje.
