Punta Fanes Sud is a 2,980-meter mountain in the Cresta di Fanes ridge. Its difficult-to-access summit offers wonderful views of the Dolomites' highest peaks. Among mountaineers, it is renowned for one of the most beautiful and challenging climbing routes in the Dolomites.
The mountain also holds historical significance due to events that occurred here during World War I.
