Rdeči rob

Description of mountain:
Rdeči rob is a 1,913 m high mountain located in the ridge of Slemenske peči, which steeply descends toward the valley of the Tolminka River. From the summit, where there is a summit logbox in the shape of a miniature Aljaž Tower (containing a logbook and stamp), a fine view opens onto the Krn mountain range, the Lower Bohinj Mountains, Primorska, and the Adriatic Sea.
Rdeči rob is also geologically different from neighboring peaks, as it is red in color. The reason lies in its rock composition, consisting of chalk and marl limestone.
