Description of hut:
The Rifugio Biella mountain hut (Seekofel Hütte) is located below the slopes of the Croda del Beco / Seekofel peak in the Parco Naturale d’Ampezzo. From the hut there is a very nice view towards Croda Rossa summit, and the Tofana and Lavarella mountain groups are also nicely visible. The hut has 46 beds, and a winter bivouac is located nearby. It was built in 1907 and originally called Eggerer Hütte.
