Description of mountain hut:
Mountain hut Rifugio Biella (Seekofel Hütte) is situated below the slopes of the peak Croda del Beco / Seekofel in nature park Parco Naturale d’Ampezzo. From the mountain hut is a very nice view towards the summit Croda Rossa, nicely visible are also mountain groups Tofana and Lavarella. Mountain hut has 46 mattresses and near the mountain hut is situated also a winter bivouac. The mountain hut was built in the year 1907 and was originally called Eggerer Hütte.
