Description of hut:
The Gherdenacia mountain hut (Rifugio Gherdenacia / Ütia de Gherdenacia / Gherdenacia Hütte) is located at 2,050 meters in the eastern part of the Puez-Odle Nature Park in the Italian Dolomites. From the hut there is a very nice view towards the Lavarella mountain group and the Val Badia valley. The Tofana, Civetta, and Marmolada groups are also clearly visible. The hut was built in 1938 and thoroughly renovated in 2009.
