Schwarzkofel

Description of mountain:
Schwarzkofel is a 2168 m high peak located south of the Heidialm pasture. From the summit, where a small cross stands, a fine panorama opens up on Wollaner Nock, Rodresnock, and other peaks in the Krške Alpe (in German: Gurktaler Alpen or Nockberge). In good visibility, the view extends all the way from the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and Karawanks, Julian Alps, across the Carnic Alps to the Hohe Tauern, where Hochalmspitze stands out most beautifully.
