Snježnik

Description of mountain:
Snježnik is a panoramic mountain in the western part of Gorski Kotar. From the summit there is a beautiful view of the Kvarner islands, Rijeka bay, Istria and its highest peak Učka, the Slovenian Snežnik, and behind it in good visibility the Kamnik-Savinja Alps are most prominent. To the east and south, Veliki Risnjak, Velika Kapela, and Velebit in the background are visible. Just a few meters below the summit is the mountain hut on Snježnik.
