Snježnik

Description of mountain:
Snježnik is a panoramic mountain in the western part of Gorski Kotar. From the top, there is a beautiful view of the Kvarner islands, Rijeka bay, Istria and its highest peak Učko, the Slovenian Snežnik, and behind it, in good visibility, the Kamnik Savinja Alps are most beautifully seen. Towards the east and south, we see Veliki Risnjak, Velika Kapela, and in the background Velebit. Just a few meters below the summit, there is a mountain cottage on Snježnik.
