St. Martin (Graz)

Description of church:
The Church of St. Martin is the oldest church in Graz according to records.
It probably stood at this site as early as the 9th or 10th century and was first mentioned in 1055.
Near the church is a castle first mentioned in the 11th century, renovated into a Renaissance castle in the 16th century.
The church and castle stand at the southeastern foot of Buchkogel hill.
